A self-guided tool to help you surface the foundational concepts that may be blocking your current coursework. Takes 15 to 25 minutes. Your work auto-saves as you go.
Work through the sections in order. Section 1, list what feels unclear in your current coursework. Section 2, check the foundational concepts each unclear topic depends on. Section 3, rate your honest confidence in each concept. Sections 4 and 5, see your prioritized gaps and build a specific repair plan for this week.
List the topics in your current A&P course that feel confusing, that you cannot explain when asked, or that you keep getting wrong on practice questions. Between one and five is fine. Be specific. "Muscle" is too broad. "How sarcomeres shorten during contraction" is useful.
For each unclear topic you listed, select the foundational concepts that topic depends on. You do not need to be certain. If you think a concept might be relevant, check it. The goal is to surface what is underneath.
For every concept you checked above, rate your honest confidence. Be honest, not optimistic. The rating scale: can teach (you could explain it to someone else), understand (you get it but cannot explain fluently), fuzzy (you recognize the term but cannot use it), missing (you do not remember or never learned it).
Based on your ratings, these are the foundation gaps most likely blocking your current coursework. Missing concepts are the highest priority. Fuzzy concepts come next. Concepts that block more topics outrank ones that block fewer.
Pick the top one to two gaps from your priority list. For each, decide on a specific resource and when you will work on it. Remember the Week 3 theme: selective repair. Not all gaps this week. The ones that matter most.
