What needs to happen today
Just today. The backlog and the bigger picture live in Planning, which you open once a week, so you do not carry the whole month around.

Focus Mode
Run your day one block at a time
Focus Mode hides everything except the task you are on, the timer, and what is up next. Plan the shape of your day below, or just enter and start.
Today's schedule
Add the meetings already on your calendar today. The planner lays focus blocks into the gaps between them.
+ Add an event
Focus settings
Set the run to 1 for a choice after every Pomodoro, or 3 for longer stretches before a nudge to switch buckets.

Parking Lot
Anything you do not want to lose but do not want cluttering Today. Capture it here during the week, then sort it on Planning Day.

What you accomplished
Every task you finish lands here. On a hard day, this is the screen to open.

Goals and tasks
Long-term goal, then short-term goals under it, then the tasks. On Planning Day you give a goal a horizon and the app spreads its tasks across the weeks. Star a task to pull it into today by hand.

Planning Day
This is the only screen that shows the bigger picture. First look back, then plan forward. After you approve a plan, those goals leave your daily view and resurface task by task on the right days.

Routines this week
How your recurring checks and walks went, just so the boundary is visible. Not a scorecard.

Part two: plan ahead
Triage the Parking Lot
0Everything you captured during the week, in one place. For each one, decide now: make it a task (it joins the plan below), send it to today, or leave it parked. This is where parked ideas get implemented or wait, so nothing is forgotten and nothing distracts you mid-week.
Set a horizon on each goal (how many weeks to finish it over), then let the app propose how to spread the tasks. It balances the daily load, spreads the four buckets so none dominates, and works around any events you have added. You approve or adjust.
Worthy goals rotation
How many times a week each theme surfaces a suggestion on Today, and the idea pool it draws from. Set a theme to 0 to pause it. Edit the lists freely.
Daily routines
Recurring checks that drop into Today automatically. Weekday routines skip the weekend. The weekend reminder keeps your email boundary visible.

Key dates and student reminders
Drop dates, withdrawal deadlines, exam dates, anything you want surfaced ahead of time. These appear on Today as they approach so you can remind students in time.
