Course Schedule

Eight-week session, June 15 to August 6. Lecture and lab Monday through Thursday.

How the week runs.
Each lecture week follows a four-day rhythm: Monday is a Success Tool session for concept framing, Tuesday is an Active Learning session (drawing, concept mapping, or similar), Wednesday is when the week's Unknown Case is worked in teams, and Thursday is the case presentation and TBL. Lab differs from lecture. The week's lab content is grouped by anatomical category and is tested on the following Monday's lab exam, regardless of how the lecture rhythm sequences the material. Not every lecture topic has a lab counterpart, and not every lab topic gets dedicated lecture time. Completed homework bundles are handed in at the start of each lab exam, before students enter.

Week 8 breaks the pattern. No patient case this week. Monday and Tuesday cover spinal cord and peripheral nerves, Wednesday is cumulative course integration and review, and Thursday runs the cumulative exams.
