See where you stand.

Enter each TBL and lab exam score as you get them, the cumulative lecture exam when you take it, and your end-of-day lab quiz average. Empty fields are excluded; the calculator reweights to what you have. The cumulative-exam TBL boost is built in.

Enter each score as a percentage out of 100

A TBL of 34 out of 40 is 85. A lab exam of 40 out of 50 is 80. Blank fields are excluded; the remaining components reweight proportionally so the result is your current standing.

This is a personal estimation tool. Your official grade is recorded in Canvas.

How the boost works

A strong cumulative lifts your lowest TBL

The calculator finds your lowest entered TBL automatically (highlighted in gold). If your cumulative lecture exam is higher than that TBL, that one TBL is replaced by the cumulative for the average (highlighted in rust). The boost only ever helps; it never lowers a score.

Running while empty

The calculator works mid-term too

Leave any field blank and that score is excluded; the weights reweight to what you have entered so far. Early in the term, this gives you a sensible projected standing. As you fill in scores, the estimate sharpens.
