Week 2 · June 22 to 25, 2026
The Skeletal System, Joints, and Muscle Microanatomy
Week 2 is the framework of the body. You will work through bone microanatomy, the axial and appendicular skeleton, joints, and skeletal muscle microanatomy, then bring it together in Unknown Case 2.
Your week at a glance
Four days, building toward one case.
Each week follows the same rhythm. You prepare, you practice, you work a real case with your team, and you present it at the TBL.
Monday
Lab Exam 1 and Success Tool
Lab Exam 1 covers Week 1, in the morning. Then concept framing and a study prompt for this week's case.
Tuesday
Active Learning
A drawing or concept map applied to this week's case content.
Wednesday
Run the Case
Work Unknown Case 2 with your team and build the differential.
Thursday
Present and TBL
Team presentations and the weekly Team-Based Learning session.
Study this week
Eight pages to work through.
These are your concept pages for Week 2: bone microanatomy, the skeleton, joints, and muscle microanatomy. Work through them before Lab Exam 2.

Case and TBL
Work Unknown Case 2, then present it Thursday.
Your case this week. Unknown Case 2 runs through the week. Work up the differential live in class with your team, and bring your reasoning to Thursday's TBL.
The weekly TBL. Thursday is your Team-Based Learning session. Come prepared: an individual readiness check comes first, then you take it again with your team, then your team presents its case. The TBL runs on InteDashboard.
Opens InteDashboard in a new tab.
Looking ahead
Before the next week begins.
Lab Exam 2 · Monday, June 29
Lab Exam 2 covers this week: bone microanatomy, the axial and appendicular skeleton, joints, and muscle microanatomy. Fill-in-the-blank identification on histology, slides, models, and cadaver.
